Height Extension and Deformity Department
In the height extension and deformity section; bow legs, functional disorders caused by inequality between the legs, short stature are successfully treated.
For this purpose, short stature and length difference in the legs can be corrected by shortening of the long leg and lengthening of the short leg with the surgical methods performed with external fixator. The external fixator is also used successfully in the treatment of soft tissue loss and curvature caused by nonunion in bone fractures. It is also possible to use motorized intra-medullary nails in lengthening operations.
